A record number of U.S. companies storm bond market Tuesday to borrow

The post-Labor Day borrowing frenzy kicked off Tuesday with a record 21 U.S. companies with investment-grade corporate ratings borrowing a total of about U.S. $35 billion in the bond market, according to portfolio managers.
