Photographer’s notebook: A day of contrasts in Yale University's hometown of New Haven

Poverty flourishes in neighborhoods surrounding Yale's campus. It's a strange disconnect that was captured during my recent assignment to photograph the university and its surroundings for "Death, taxes and ivory towers," a special report on the growing divide between Yale and its hometown of New Haven, Connecticut.
