ERCOT names Brad Jones as interim CEO

Energy industry veteran Brad Jones is taking over as interim president and CEO of ERCOT after a tumultuous couple of months for the operator of the Texas power grid. Previous president and CEO Bill Magness was terminated in March after widespread outages in February in the wake of severe storms.
