No shutdown yet but fines of up to $2,000 OK'd for Covid-19 rule breakers

Things aren't dire enough to return to the full-fledged lockdown of the spring, according to public health officials. But larger fines have been approved for those that don't follow Covid-19 safety regulations. As a public health expert from UT put it, "The more we do to curb transmission in the next five weeks, the more feasible opening schools will be."
