Black Caucus seeks assurance on minority hiring, contracts for $300M convention center project

The chair of the Wisconsin Legislative Black Caucus says he wants to ensure minority-owned businesses and minority employees are retained for the $300 million expansion of Milwaukee’s downtown convention center and will meet with Wisconsin Center District president and CEO Marty Brooks to discuss the matter.
