Proposed law could penalize Premier Health if it demolishes Good Sam

The proposed bill would ensure that a nonprofit health system, which includes Premier, is no longer exempt from certain taxes if they refuse to allow another operator the opportunity to take over an abandoned facility, such as Good Samaritan Hospital.
