Edeniq Adds Vice President of Government & Regulatory Affairs to Support Customers Through Cellulosic Industry Leadership

Edeniq, Inc., a leading cellulosic and biorefining technology company, today announced the addition of Sarah Caswell as Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs. Ms. Caswell will be based in the Company’s Omaha, Nebraska office.

“Ms. Caswell brings deep biofuel policy experience at both the federal and state level,” said Brian Thome, President and CEO of Edeniq. “Her knowledge and connections are enabling Edeniq to take a leadership role on matters that are top-of-mind for our customers. For nearly two decades, Ms. Caswell has worked on legislative and regulatory issues in Washington, DC and Omaha, Nebraska. While in DC, she was a legislative aide on Capitol Hill, a full-time energy policy advisor, and then Director of Biofuels and Biomass Policy at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (“BIO”). In her role with BIO, Ms. Caswell developed expertise on the Renewable Fuel Standard program among other policies. In early 2013, Ms. Caswell moved with her family to Omaha, Nebraska and for the past five years has consulted for DC-based clients, including BIO.

Ms. Caswell earned a B.A. with honors in political science from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, DC, and is a member of the Illinois Bar. She serves as a member of the guild board for Fontenelle Forest, located in Bellevue, Nebraska.
