Milwaukee-area manufacturing executive and philanthropist Gus Ramirez received the Corporate Citizenship of the Year Award Oct. 13 from the Milwaukee Business Journal for his charitable endeavors, including leading the effort both personally and financially to build the St. Augustine Preparatory Academy on Milwaukee's south side.
