Augusta University researcher gets $1.6 million grant to study link between sugary drinks and weight gain

Dr. Ruth B.S. Harris, physiologist at the Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, was awarded $1.6 million to study the effects of sugar drinks on health.
