Lydia I. Beebe Joins Aemetis Board of Directors

Chevron's First Female Corporate Officer Brings Extensive Industry Experience

CUPERTINO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / November 17, 2016 / Aemetis, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMTX), an advanced renewable fuels and biochemicals company, today announced the election of Lydia I. Beebe to the Aemetis Board of Directors.

Ms. Beebe is currently Senior Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC, one of Silicon Valley's leading law firms. Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Ms. Beebe served for 38 years with Chevron Corporation. In 1995, Ms. Beebe was promoted to Corporate Secretary of Chevron, the first female corporate officer in Chevron Corporation's 127-year history. In 2007, she also became Chevron's Chief Governance Officer, holding both offices until she retired in 2015.

Ms. Beebe holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Kansas, a J.D. from the University of Kansas, as well as an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. Ms. Beebe also served on the board of directors of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc.

The Aemetis Board of Directors is currently comprised of the following individuals: Harold Sorgenti, former President/CEO of ARCO Chemical Company; John Block, former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture (under President Reagan); Fran Barton, former CFO of five multi-billion-dollar revenue semiconductor companies; Dr. Steve Hutcheson, Professor of Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland and founder of Zymetis; and Eric McAfee, founder, Chairman and CEO of Aemetis.
