Swiss Metal Assets Offers to Pay 5 Year Storage Bill on New Strategic Metals Purchases

By: PRLog
When purchasing any precious or strategic metals, owners need to take storage costs into account. For a very limited time, Swiss Metal Assets is offering to pay the storage bill for their clients, for up to 5 years.
PRLog - Aug 01, 2013 - PANAMA CITY, Panama -- After gold and silver hit 2.5 year lows on June 23rd, and shot up to new 4 week highs in July, many investors are looking for asset protection solutions that aren't subject to the volatility of precious metals.  Rare Strategic Metals, a new tool in the asset protection market, avoids much of this instability.  Until August 31st, Swiss Metal Assets (http://www.swissmetalassets.com) is offering to pay their clients storage bills for up to 5 years.  Their goal is to introduce new buyers to this brand new asset, and help wealthy individuals diversify their assets outside of U.S. borders.

Confidence in the U.S. dollar is declining.  Pessimism ranges from mild to severe, but most analysts see skyrocketing debt and 85 billion dollars a month in Quantitative Easing as a sign its time to move into physical ownership of real assets as opposed to paper.  Since gold and silver values should be linked to inflation, when currency declines, precious metals should move in an inverse direction.

However, gold and silver are extremely volatile due to the amount of paper certificates traded on a daily basis.  Because there are more certificates than there is actual physical metal to cover them, prices are based on emotions more than on true value.  Due to their extreme popularity, they are also targets of price manipulation.

According to Ulrich Schwark, CEO at Swiss Metal Assets, "Even though gold bugs purchase for the long term and should not be affected by constant up and down motion, the extreme volatility takes an emotional toll.  Often, owners of gold and silver panic, and dump their holdings when they should be buying."  He goes on to say "rare strategic metals are different in that they represent a much smaller market, and fewer investors even know they exist.  They have very little exposure in the major exchanges, and their price is based more on actual supply and demand."

Rare strategic metals are often called technological metals, since almost all technological manufacturing relies on some of them.  National Geographic magazine calls them the magic ingredient in almost everything.  This set of 13 metals is used in the creation of everything from LCD's, Night vision goggles and solar panels, to jet engines and armaments.

Aimed primarily at wealth preservation, the low supply and increasing demand of these assets also show spectacular profit potential.  They have all of the asset protection properties of gold, with better profit potential than silver.  Some advantages are:

*  Low supply.  While rare strategic metals are not actually rare, they are difficult and expensive to produce.  New supply lines launch slowly and cost millions of dollars exposing mining companies to excessive risk.

*  Growing demand.  These metals are used extensively in military, medical and technological applications.  These demands are increasing daily.

*  Small but growing number of individual investors.  Rare strategic metals are relatively unknown. For action orientated buyers, this is a chance to get in on the ground floor.

*  Less exposure than silver to manipulation - Only 8 very large entities control over 50% of the short side of the silver market meaning they can manipulate the price at will.

Rare strategic metals are meant to be a long term asset protection strategy.  Ulrich says, "Buyers of technological metals should be prepared to ignore the emotion of the market, and stay in for at least 5 years.  In order to make this easier, for anyone who contacts SMA before September 1st, we will pay up to 5 years of their storage."

Due to the weight and logistics of transporting metals, storage in a secure vault is critical.  This peace of mind comes with a price tag equal to 7.5% of the total purchase.   While this cost is reasonable and worthwhile security, it digs into the funds available for investment.  Covering these costs represents a significant investment for Swiss Metal Assets, so they can only make this special offer for buyers who contact them before September 1st.
