The 2017 Las Vegas Shooting
After the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, the Don Forman Nissan proprietor worked with employees to transport shooting victims away from danger and their families to local hospitals.
The Nissan North America partner also worked with the Fox 5 Surprise Squad to assist Las Vegas resident Glen Zani. Forman and the Surprise Squad worked with Zani to facilitate his poignant memorial gesture of constructing and planting crosses at sites of tragedies such as the Sandy Hook Shooting and the Colorado Movie Theater Shooting.
The Great Turkey Giveaway
It is not all about mass gestures for Don Forman, though just as important are small gestures. Such small gestures include the great turkey giveaway of November 2017.
A month following the Las Vegas shooting, Don Forman came together with the Fox5 Surprise Squad and Albertsons to provide Las Vegas residents with free turkeys for their Thanksgiving gatherings. A gesture warmly welcomed by residents in the month following the Las Vegas shooting.
Don Has Been a Nationwide Benefactor Even Before the Fox5 Surprise Squad
Don Forman and the Fox5 Surprise Squad have been granting surprise requests to Las Vegans since 2014. Even before this partnership, though, Don has shown just how philanthropically inclined he is.
After the Aurora movie shooting and the Sandy Hook school shooting in 2012, Don stepped forward and gifted students who could not afford to purchase their own transportation, with automobiles enabling them to get to and from college.
Don Forman and the staff at Don Forman Nissan are leaders in the auto-services and sales industry in Las Vegas and California. The success of his staff and his dealership is largely due to the entrepreneurial spirit that Don encourages among his staff and among others in the community.
