The novel follows a story inspired by Harvey’s own upbringing. In the story, June Moore, head of a well-loved North Carolina summer camp, struggles to save all she has worked for as personal and financial troubles threaten her livelihood. Along the way, she will team up with a group of former campers, now grown and facing challenges of their own, as they fight to preserve the camp that formed the foundation of their friendship.
