IRS Rebate Eligibility Check For SMB | ERC Tax Credit Pre-Qualification Launched

ERC Scope has launched a new, no-cost pre-qualification program that helps small and medium-sized business owners claim their pandemic relief tax credits for 2020 and 2021.

In September 2021, the federal government retroactively ended the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program, but employers can still claim up to $26,000 per employee in rebates. The new pre-qualification program launched by ERC Scope can help employers to determine if they are eligible, with no cost, by answering five simple questions.

More information about ERTC rebates, eligibility, and pre-qualification can be found at https://www.ercscope.com

The new pre-qualification program allows any employer with between 5 and 500 W-2 employees to determine their eligibility for tax credits, including startups, new businesses founded during the pandemic, and non-profit organizations such as churches, schools, or clinics. The entire assessment can be completed in approximately one minute, without sharing any proprietary business information and with no obligation.

After going through several rounds of amendments, the ERTC program has been expanded to provide more significant rebates for a broader range of businesses. However, the application process has also become more complex. This new program includes an option to have the entire rebate process handled by a team of ERTC specialist accountants that help to ensure each business receives its maximum allowable rebate.

The ERTC specialist team can provide a detailed assessment of which fiscal quarters a business may be eligible for, what factors will affect their rebate, and how much they can claim. They can also help employers to claim refunds if they were previously disqualified, either for having already received loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) or for having more than 100 employees.

Employers who have already enrolled in the PPP are also eligible for ERTC rebates after changes made in the Consolidated Appropriations Act. Unlike the PPP, which provided small business loans, ERTC rebates are not a loan, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.

Business owners can also use the new service to schedule a no-cost consultation call with an ERTC specialist to answer their questions, learn more about the program, or get an estimate of their available rebates. The ERTC team guides clients through the process from beginning to end, including helping them to complete the proper documentation and file it correctly.
