With a focus on the evolving relationship between different forms of asset-based and supply chain finance, Secured Finance Network (SFNet) will host an event on March 3, 2026, in New York City, convening industry professionals for an afternoon of insight, education, and high-impact networking.
A featured highlight will be the presentation of recommendations from SFNet’s recently convened blue-ribbon Fraud Task Force, offering timely guidance on risk mitigation and transparency in an increasingly complex financing environment.
Immediately preceding the National Jewish Health Financial Industries Dinner, the event is designed for industry leaders, practitioners, and stakeholders seeking timely perspectives on the convergence of asset-based lending (ABL), factoring, and supply chain finance solutions, alongside the complex legal structures that underpin these products and best practices for mitigating associated risks. CLE and CPE credits will be available.
The program will open with the debut of the SFNet Supply Chain Finance Market Sizing Study, conducted in partnership with the Rutgers Graduate Program in Supply Chain Finance. Moderated by Bryan Ballowe, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TradeCap Partners, the session will highlight key trends, growth areas, and market opportunities shaping the future of supply chain finance within the secured finance ecosystem.
The afternoon keynote will feature acclaimed Financial Times reporter Robert Smith, who will explore fraud in financial services, examining whether it is pervasive or idiosyncratic, and provide unique insights into its impact on the industry.
The event will conclude with an interactive case study discussion examining the convergence of ABL, factoring, supply chain finance, leasing, inventory purchases, and other structures. Industry experts will unpack the legal frameworks supporting these solutions and share practical guidance for identifying, understanding, and mitigating risks in today’s complex financing environment.
“As secured finance products continue to converge and evolve, professionals across the industry are navigating increasingly sophisticated structures and risk profiles,” said Rich Gumbrecht, CEO of SFNet. “This program delivers exceptional value by pairing practical, actionable insights with meaningful opportunities to connect with peers and thought leaders, all in a highly efficient, accessible format.”
Event registration is open until February 3, and more details can be found here.
