Genesco Announces Strategic Transformation of Its Information Technology Operations

Genesco Inc. (NYSE: GCO) today announced a strategic transformation of its information technology operations, advancing to a new business model designed to improve speed and scalability, accelerate AI-enabled innovation and automation, and more closely align technology capabilities with the Company’s evolving business priorities. The transformation will support Genesco’s long-term growth strategy while improving operational efficiencies across the Company.

As part of the transformation, Genesco is partnering with a leading global technology provider and adopting new tools and ways of working. The new operating model is expected to be implemented in phases and the Company expects that some positions will be impacted within its IT organization.
