The event is part of a public series intended for educators, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) practitioners, higher education leaders and administrators, employers, nonprofit organizations, government affiliates, and University of Phoenix faculty, staff, students, and alumni across the globe.

“The panel discussion aims to facilitate a deeper understanding of the ways servicemembers experience aspects of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging in country’s military environments,” states Tondra Richardson, MBA, director of Student Diversity & Inclusion at University of Phoenix, and a host of the series. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to hear from this diverse group of military leaders and to learn from their rich experiences and insights.”

“The opportunity to have an open and thoughtful discussion with some of the men and women who bravely served our country is critical to understanding historical experiences of diversity and belonging in our military community,” shares Ramirez. “By sharing and examining these experiences, we allow ourselves to gain important perspectives on diversity. We are grateful to our panelists for participating in the discussion and look forward to learning from them and their experiences.”
