On August 11, 2005, Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. announced the clearance of its investigational new drug application (“IND”) for ChemophaseÔ by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The press release announcing the clearance of the IND is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference.
