Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 22, 2005, Ampex Corporation announced that its application to list its Class A Common Stock on the Nasdaq National Market has been approved. The company has been informed that that its shares will begin trading under the symbol “AMPX” on Friday, June 24, 2005. A copy of the company’s press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
