On August 12, 2010, Medidata Solutions, Inc. issued a press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.  Medidata Solutions, Inc. also posted supplemental reconciliation and guidance information with respect to its second quarter results on the Investors section of its website at www.mdsol.com.  A copy of the press release and the supplemental reconciliation and guidance information are furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2, respectively, and are incorporated herein by reference.
