Other Events.

On November 9, 2018, Northern Illinois Gas Company (“Nicor Gas”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southern Company Gas, filed a general base rate case with the Illinois Commerce Commission (the “Illinois Commission”) requesting a $230 million increase in annual base rate revenues. The requested increase is based on a projected test year for the 12-month period ending September 30, 2020 and a return on equity of 10.60%.
The Illinois Commission is expected to rule on the requested increase within the 11-month statutory time limit, after which rate adjustments will be effective. The ultimate outcome of this matter cannot be determined at this time.
