Broad losses hit tech stocks in early trading

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Technology stocks were mostly on the decline in early trading Tuesday, with most sector leaders losing ground and the market awaiting the start of a Federal Reserve meeting on monetary policy.
