Seeking a Job in Solar? Virginia Summer Shindig to Host Employers in Richmond 8/31

A host of regional organizations currently filling open solar positions will meet with job seekers August 31 at the 2023 Virginia Solar Summit Summer Shindig at the Renaissance in Richmond's downtown Arts District.

RICHMOND, Va. - Aug. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Join the Virginia Solar Summit community when hundreds once again convene for a robust afternoon of substantive solar discussion and a fun evening of networking, food and drinks at the 2023 Virginia Solar Summit Summer Shindig taking place at the Renaissance in downtown Richmond, August 31st. Co-hosted by the Virginia Department of Energy and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, both hard at work to develop across the board opportunities in energy and environment across the Commonwealth, the VSS23 Summer Shindig is putting workforce development and jobs in clear focus as new opportunities emerge every day in Virginia's leading economy.

The educational program's anchor session will feature a dynamic discussion exploring exactly how Virginians of all walks of life can step into a brighter career in solar energy. And numerous exhibitors will be on site to showcase their individual opportunities at tables open for discussion throughout the event.

All job seekers can receive either free entry (while passes remain) or discounted registration to the event along with special access to employers. Simply contact the Virginia Solar Summit on its website and send your resume for a free pass.

A 2-hour open bar and appetizer service will begin at 5PM and is included with full registration and will immediately follow the conclusion of the afternoon's educational program (1:15PM-5PM). Following the conclusion of these two happy hours at the Renaissance, networking will continue on a rooftop nearby during an off-site after party (with a cash bar).
