Pillars of Light and Love opens the So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe in Skippack Area

SKIPPACK, Pa. - Jan. 18, 2023 - PRLog -- Pennsylvania State Representative Matt Bradford will join local nonprofit, Pillars of Light and Love, at a ribbon cutting for the official grand opening of their new So Much to Give Inclusive Café, whose mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience to empower all people, including those with disabilities and their families, to have equal opportunities to work, dine, socialize, volunteer, and learn. The event will be held Saturday, January 21st from 2-4pm where the public is invited to tour the restaurant, meet the staff, the volunteers, as well as the Founders Kathy Opperman, Maureen Stanko and Tyler Kammerle, the General Manager and Systems Coordinator for Cafe.

Guests will enjoy live music by Michael Santiago, and a free dessert reception during the event. Miss Pennsylvania United States 2022, Allison Kratz, will also be joining the ribbon cutting ceremony. Coffee and beverages will be available for purchase from the Mobile "Coffee Closet by Barista Jake" McFarland, who shares a similar mission of offering employment, vocational and social skill opportunities to those with disabilities.

The celebration will continue into the dinner hour beginning at 4pm where co-founder, Maureen Stanko, joins Santiago to entertain dinner guests. Julia Miralles, one of the winners of the 2022 Julia's Joy Voice Idol Competition, will be joined by her father, Joe and performing earlier Saturday from 11 to 1pm for brunch guests. The Ken Battista Duo will perform for dinner guests on Sunday from 5-7pm. Additional performers may be added. Reservations are highly recommended throughout the weekend by calling 484-854-3379

The So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe, located at 3401 W Skippack Pike, Cedars, PA is now open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner from 4-8pm, with breakfast and lunch served Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. Through jobs, entertainment events, social skills programs, educational and inspirational workshops, and more, the charity plans to bring the community together at the Cafe to showcase the incredible abilities everyone has to offer. Customers have described the Cafe as having an "electrifying energy" and others have said, "This is truly a heartwarming and very special place to enjoy in the community!"

Pillars of Light and Love is a 501c3 non-profit founded by Kathy Opperman in 2014, and is focused on life and stress management, as they offer free workshops, social skills programs for those with disabilities, and support groups for grief and addiction, along with various programs to empower youth and adults to become the best version of themselves.
