360° Wellness Hub is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a sensory-friendly event for children. The Kuala Lumpur-based mental health and wellness center has brought sensory professionals into one event to evaluate the children’s sensory development and wellness.

While it seems like there are always events happening throughout the region for kids, it can often be a process of elimination to look for activities perfect for children with sensory processing disorders or autism.
However, it doesn’t have to be a difficult task because 360° Wellness Hub’s EWS event exists with the sole intent of uniting children and enabling them to feel included in a less stressful setting. The organization welcomes and encourages all parents with children from the ages of 6 to 11 years old for a one-of-a-kind and fun vision, hearing, touch, balance, social and developmental stage assessments like autism and social spectrum.
The one-stop event is essential for children whose developmental environment and routines were disrupted for about three years due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Specialists and experts at 360° Wellness Hub helped design this fun event to identify sensory development concerns beforehand.
According to a mental health and wellness center representative, “We believe that early reduction lessens the risk of dysfunctionality later in life for a child. After about three unrestrained years, children should be tested to ease their transition back to life routines and regular school.
Our team of psychologists and educators at 360° Wellness Hub has designed an exciting obstacle course for kids to observe, test, and evaluate their balance, hearing, vision, touch, development, and social stage assessments. We invite every parent in the region to participate in this one-of-a-kind event.”
Children are not the only ones who will benefit from the EWS event. In fact, parents will also get a series of ‘Let’s Talk to the Experts’ talks along with specialists. It has been scheduled alongside the children’s test. Parents can also consult with experts about any parenting problems they have.
There will be a lot of clinical and medical sensory guest specialists at the event, such as Dr. Adriel Soh Meng Poey, Ms. Alleya Cheng, Shuen Lim, Dr. Lennie Soo, and Dr. Sivaneswaran Poobalasingam. 360° Wellness Hub invites parents to sign up their kids for the exploration course to test their child’s skills through fun and play.
The Explore Your Senses Event will be held on August 7, 2022, Sunday at the Sanctuary Mall. The entrance fee will be RM99 (the normal price is RM1095).
