Netflix tanks as subscriber growth cools

Netflix's subscriber growth is showing signs of a slowdown after the streaming giant reported 4 million new subscribers in the first quarter of 2021 for a total of 208 million. While still a 14% increase compared to the previous year, the subscriber numbers came in below Netflix's guidance of 6 million new subscribers, or a total of 210 million.
