Information Security Executive Suzanne Gorman Joins Global Learning Systems as Vice President

COLUMBIA, Md. - March 24, 2021 - PRLog -- Veteran information security executive Suzanne Gorman, CISSP, CRISC, joins Global Learning Systems (GLS) as Vice President and Information Security and Risk Management Evangelist. In this role, Gorman will be working on the front line of GLS's acquisition, expansion and retention team, driving customer awareness to promote a security-minded culture while changing employee behavior.

Known for designing and implementing comprehensive information security programs with an emphasis on security awareness training, Gorman has spent much of her 35-year career on Wall Street leading large Information Security teams, including a 15-year stint with the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, she served in a similar role at KnowBe4, where she provided guidance to clients on the utilization of the company's security awareness program resources and assisted the sales team in addressing the needs of enterprise customers.

She has served as the chairperson of the Financial Services Information Sharing Analysis Center (FS/ISAC) and ISAC Council and has testified before Congress on "Cybersecurity for The Homeland." She was honored by Information Security Magazine as one of the top 25 most influential women in the information security industry, and Network World named her one of "The 50 Most Powerful People in Networking."
