BPI Information Systems, Inc. Acquired by WD Capital Holdings

CLEVELAND - February 13, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

BPI Information Systems, a leader in IT managed services, announced it has been acquired by WD Capital Holdings, a search fund founded by Ross Butler.

The transaction was facilitated by IT ExchangeNet, a global leader in smaller mid-market mergers and acquisitions focusing on IT Services businesses, MSSPs, MSPs, Microsoft, and Oracle channel partners.

Ross Butler said, "WD Capital evaluated dozens of businesses and felt BPI had the most potential for continued growth. Gary built a great company with incredibly talented people, and we look to leverage the success BPI has had over the decades."

According to Gary Ellis, President of BPI, "Once we started speaking with Ross, I knew it was a natural fit. His vision for the business, coupled with his emphasis on company culture, client care, and future growth, provided me the confidence to hand over the controls after 35 years of building my business."

Ellis added, "ITX came highly regarded from a trusted colleague. Their deep network of buyers of smaller mid-market IT businesses is incredible, with more than 130 expressing interest."

Ross said, When ITX introduced WD Capital Holdings to BPI, we immediately knew it was a great fit. It's clear to me that ITX has a strong sense for where the market is, and leverages their global database to match smaller mid-market IT firms with the right buyers. Having worked closely with ITX, I could not be happier with the outcome."
