The newly launched updated service provides a safe luxury ground transportation service for getting to or coming from the airport. The company’s professional full-time drivers offer quality customer service and reliable and fast transport to and from the airport and put customers’ safety first.
A1A has developed strict health and safety protocol inline with the CDC’s guidelines. To ensure social distancing, reduced capacity is enforced on all A1A’s luxury airport transfers.
For sedans and SUVs, only one customer is allowed in the vehicle unless the other passengers are members of the same household. For its sprinters and van service, only 25% to 30% capacity is allowed, with only one person per row unless the passengers are from the same household. For minibuses and motorcoaches, only 25% to 50% capacity is allowed, with one person every other row, with the exception that the passengers are members of the same household.
All A1A chauffeurs are required to wear protective face masks and glove wearing is strongly recommended by the company. Before each journey, every chauffeur must wipe down door handles, armrests, window controls, seat belts, hard surfaces, and seat backs with a disinfectant wipe while wearing gloves. Every vehicle is also equipped with 70% alcohol or EPA-certified products that prevent the spread of COVID-19.
All A1A chauffeurs have been trained to limit all physical contact and material sharing between themselves and customers. Other safety measures include storing water in a cooler and offering it to customers using a paper towel as well as the removal with gloves of water bottles immediately after the journey is complete. Additionally, all reading material has been removed from seat-back pockets and free hand sanitizer is kept in each vehicle.
Each chauffeur undergoes a temperature screening before every shift to ensure they are showing no signs of illness. Any indications of a temperature change for a chauffeur results in a reassignment of their rides for that day and they are then encouraged to see a medical professional immediately.
