Zoological Society's biggest investment of 2020 was in virtual classes

With the Covid-19 pandemic forcing the temporary closure of the Milwaukee County Zoo and the suspension of in-person zoological classes, the Zoological Society of Wisconsin lost about $4 million in revenue. It's no surprise that the greatest challenge was the financial impact, president and CEO Jodi Gibson said.
