With empty seats, Milwaukee Rep expects at least $1.2 million in revenue losses from 'Christmas Carol'

In 2020, however, 300,000 people will not gather at the Pabst Theater for this holiday tradition. The Milwaukee Rep moved to virtual options of the Christmas classic, but executive director Chad Bauman expects to lose 90% of "A Christmas Carol" revenue coming from single-ticket sales, equating to revenue losses of about $1.2 million to $1.3 million.
