Pandemic is still testing food production as Big G, others race to keep up

Months after consumers emptied grocery store shelves of staple items like canned soup, pastas and flour, major food producers like General Mills Inc., Campbell Soup Co. and Conagra Brands Inc. still haven't returned inventory levels to normal. And the holidays, usually a peak season for baking, is on the horizon.
