Korean company buying Mitsubishi Electric plant, creating 410 jobs, in $87M investment

Hyosung Heavy Industries will enter the U.S. for the first time with an $87 million investment to buy the Memphis plant from Mitsubishi Electric Power Products. The deal was made official with a Friday, Dec. 13, announcement that brought Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee to town.
