Home Builder Index Reaches Milestone But Can It Beat History?

The Spring selling season is critical for the housing market and for the stocks of home builders. Since 2007, the index of home builders has tended to peaked by April in absolute terms and relative to the S&P 500. The index is now at an 8-month high.
