Eleven Houston chefs and restaurants long-listed for top culinary award

The Tex-Mex restaurant credited for introducing to fajitas to Houston is being honored for the first time. The semifinalist list also includes one of Houston's oldest restaurants, chefs Ronnie Killen and Chris Shepherd, and several other familiar names.
