AccuDoc Launches New Website With Marijuana Card Information For Ohio Residents

An urgent care clinic in Harrison, Ohio has just launched a new website for its medical marijuana card services. The site, AccuDoc, aims to help medical marijuana users better understand the process of obtaining a card for dispensaries.

Dr. Trent Austin, the owner of AccuDoc, has stated that some patients are confused about how they can obtain their medical marijuana cards. Dr. Austin hired IM Consultant Services to design a website to help these patients.

The new website details every step of the process for obtaining a card for medical marijuana. According to Dr. Austin, the first step is to schedule an appointment with AccuDoc. This is done for the patient to obtain a recommendation from the doctor at the clinic.

This recommendation is then uploaded to the state and the patient is required to pay a fee to the state of Ohio. That allows them to obtain their card. Once the fee is paid, a temporary card can be printed during the visit. A hard copy of the card will follow, to be mailed to the patient from the state. Once the card is in hand, the patient can purchase medical cannabis from an Ohio dispensary.

Dr. Austin has stressed that patients should understand that they first need to obtain the card. It has become a recurring task at his practice to explain to patients that they do not actually purchase the marijuana from the clinic. Instead, patients obtain a card from them and then use that card to get marijuana from a certified dispensary.

The new AccuDoc website should clarify this for medical marijuana card seekers. These can now refer to the website for assistance in obtaining a card in Ohio.

Medical marijuana has been used for centuries to treat and palliate a number of immune system disorders. These have included AIDS and HIV, multiple sclerosis, pain and inflammation due to a number of medical conditions, seizures and more. Even patients undergoing cancer treatments are prescribed medical marijuana in order to help them deal with the side effects of some cancer medications.

According to Dr. Austin, marijuana as a treatment for many health issues is becoming more and more popular. This is why he believes it’s important that patients have a clear picture of what they need to do to obtain the card for purchasing medical marijuana.

The website explains that Accudoc Urgent Care provides patients with a card to obtain oils, edibles, patches, and other medical marijuana products. Dr. Austin provides recommendations to patients after a check-up to determine if they qualify for a card. If they do, the recommendations for the card are sent to the state. The patient can then purchase the medical marijuana that they need from a dispensary in the area.

Dr. Austin has said that patients in Ohio who are looking for “medical marijuana near me” can contact the clinic to schedule an appointment. Appointments can be made directly through the website by filling out a provided form, or the patient can contact the clinic directly by phone or email.
