Brookfield top New York landlord after Forest City deal closes

Canada's Brookfield Asset Management Inc will be the largest single commercial property owner in New York City after its $11.4 billion purchase of Forest City Realty Trust Inc closes in coming days, a Brookfield official said on Wednesday.
