Reading...Give It A Shot! School Visit

Where: St. Patrick Elementary - 6006 Rundlehorn Drive NE
Time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Flames players will answer questions from students followed by autographs. Reading...Give It A Shot! is a program that encourages students in grade one through Grade 6 to develop a love of reading, improve their reading skills and have some fun. Students, depending on their age, work toward the goal of collecting all 24 Calgary Flames or Harvey the Hound trading cards. This initiative is an excellent opportunity to emphasize the importance of literacy, complement existing reading programs in schools, and encourage parents to share in their children's reading. Last season, over 28,000 students participated in the Reading...Give It A Shot! program.

TEPF helps students explore possibilities throughout their education which can provide them with the freedom to choose their future. TEPF delivers programs in three key areas: literacy, environmental leadership and trades careers.
Founded in 1991, The Calgary Educational Partnership Foundation was established as a registered charity to provide support for students and teachers in the Calgary and the surrounding area. During its 25th Anniversary year, the organization changed its name to The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF) and in 2018 has expanded to offer all programs throughout Alberta.
