Spectrum Brands Holdings Announces Executive Leadership Changes

Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPB), a global consumer products company offering a broad portfolio of leading brands and focused on driving innovation and exceptional customer service, today announced changes to its executive leadership, effective October 1, 2018.

Nathan E. Fagre, 63, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and Stacey L. Neu, 52, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, will be leaving the Company to pursue other interests.

Ehsan Zargar, 41, has been named Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and the human resource function has been reassigned to Douglas L. Martin, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Zargar.

“We are pleased to have Ehsan join Spectrum Brands,” Maura said. “Ehsan brings a unique vantage point and knowledge base given his extensive legal background in both the corporate world and private practice, including his prior service as a Director on the Board of Directors of Spectrum Brands.”

Zargar was a Director of Spectrum Brands Holdings from August 2017 until July 2018. From June 2011 until July 2018, Zargar also served in a number of positions as an employee of HRG Group, Inc., including serving as Corporate Secretary as of February 2012, General Counsel as of April 2015, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer as of January 2017. Prior to joining HRG Group, Zargar worked in the New York office of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from November 2006 to June 2011. Prior to that, Zargar practiced law at another major law firm focusing on general corporate matters. Zargar received a law degree from Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
