WILMINGTON, N.C. - Sept. 6, 2018 - PRLog -- N2 Publishing has announced the launch of its inaugural N2 Serves Day slated for November 2, 2018. The print media powerhouse known for its presence on major "great places to work" lists like those of Fortune, Entrepreneur, and Inc., is encouraging its team of more than 1,000 to put down their work and volunteer with a local nonprofit.

"It's important for us to be active and involved in the communities we bring together through our neighborhood publications," says Katherine Daniel, Director of Human Resources and Marketing for N2. "By encouraging our 200+ Home Office team members, as well as our 800+ franchisees, to go out in their communities and lend a helping hand, we hope to be a light where people need it most… and to be a company that continues living out our culture of caring for others."

#SkipWorkDoGood is what N2 Serves Day is all about. Team members are encouraged to spend the afternoon helping their communities in whatever way they feel they can make the biggest difference. Their goal for this first year? To pledge and serve 2,000 volunteer hours.

They do so in the form of donating millions each year to anti-human trafficking organizations through their giving program, N2GIVES, as well as through offering free advertising space monthly in each of their neighborhood publications so 501(c)(3)s can raise awareness for their cause and fundraising efforts.
