Lockheed Martin wins $2.9 billion U.S. defense contract: Pentagon

Lockheed Martin Corp has been awarded a $2.9 billion U.S. defense contract for three Next Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous Earth Orbit Space Vehicles, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.
