Local Neurosurgeon Debuts Health Watch Segment on 9&10 News

Dr. Jay Jagannathan to Appear on Michelle Dunaway's 'the four' Show

TROY, MI / ACCESSWIRE / August 14, 2018 / Dr. Jay Jagannathan, owner of several neurosurgery clinics throughout the state of Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, will be appearing on a weekly health watch segment during 9&10 News' hourlong lifestyle show, 'the four.' Hosted by anchor Michelle Dunaway, the four-minute segments will focus on a specific wellness topic each week through the end of the year.

''Community-based health care is the central focus of our neurosurgery, neurology and pain practices,'' said Dr. Jagannathan, CEO of the Jagannathan Neurosurgical Institute clinics. The taping of the series began this week, with the first episode slated to air Aug. 20 and each subsequent Monday through Dec. 10. Each segment will include information on a topical health care issue with guests as appropriate.

The Aug. 20 segment will focus on the common causes of neck pain and how best to treat them. Subsequent topics include Michigan's new narcotic laws, which went into effect July 1 and the management of sports-related brain and spinal injuries through proper medical care and treatment.
