Minneapolis chef nabs James Beard Award for Midwest category

The James Beard Foundation selected Minneapolis chef Gavin Kaysen, of Spoon and Stable, for this year's award in the Best Chef: Midwest category, passing up Milwaukee chefs Karen Bell and Justin Carlisle.
