Stock Update: Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) – Amazon, Microsoft join REI, Group Health, ask state Supreme Court to rule against LGBT discrimination

[at American City Business Journals] – Amazon and Microsoft are among the largest Washington companies to file a legal document asking the state Supreme Court to uphold a ruling against a south Central Washington florist who refused to provide flowers for a same-sex wedding. A Superior Court judge in February 2015 ruled Richland-based Arlene’s Flowers and the company’s owner, Barronelle Stutzman, violated the Consumer Protection Act when she refused service to a gay couple two years prior.
