Agilysys to Participate as Sponsor in Technology and Diversity for Charity 2015 Holiday Gala

Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq:AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that it will participate as a sponsor in the upcoming Technology and Diversity for Charity 2015 Holiday Gala. The event will be held Friday, Dec. 11, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The gala will feature a live auction and raffle, with proceeds benefiting non-profit programs for underprivileged children in the Las Vegas Valley. Organizations that will receive assistance include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, Boys Town Nevada, Opportunity Village, Special Olympics of Nevada and Toys for Tots.

Agilysys' participation in the Technology and Diversity for Charity Holiday Gala supports the company's 'Lasting Connections' initiative, which encourages community outreach. As part of this corporate program, Agilysys recently made a donation of 500 movie tickets to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada during the Global Gaming Expo. And, in conjunction with its annual sales kick-off meeting earlier this year, the company donated an external hard drive and three Adobe Creative Cloud licenses to the Brookhaven (Atlanta) Boys & Girls Club.

"Our 'Lasting Connections' initiative is all about giving back to the communities where we live and work, and the Technology and Diversity for Charity Holiday Gala is a great way for us to do that," said Jim Dennedy, president and chief executive officer of Agilysys. "It's especially gratifying to participate in an event that brings happiness to kids. We encourage our employees to donate their time and skills to local charitable organizations and causes they care about, not only during the holiday season but throughout the year."

Technology and Diversity for Charity is a not-for-profit charitable organization, headquartered in Las Vegas, that brings together technology companies and community partners to assist underprivileged children. Hosts for the annual holiday gala include: Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP); Nevada Chapter of Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM); Information Systems Security Association (ISSA); Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP); Southern Nevada Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI); Las Vegas Chapter of Society for Information Management; and Women in Technology International (WITI).
