MURRIETA, Calif. - Nov. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Kathy Buckley is best known as "America's First Hearing Impaired Comedienne." She is a five-time American Comedy Award Nominee as Best Stand-Up Female Comedienne, and the winner of countless other awards for her work. She found her calling in comedy in the late 1980s in California at a stand-up comedy contest staged as a benefit for people with cerebral palsy. In addition to comedy, Kathy is also known for her co-starring roles in the TV series "Touched by an Angel," and starred in her own original award winning PBS special, "No Labels, No Limits." She is an author and humanitarian.
In the late 1990s she began speaking for non-profit organizations and has since become one of the country's leading motivational speakers. In addition to joining us as our Master of Ceremonies, Kathy will be joining us as a guest speaker. Her extraordinary story is truly amazing to all who experience it, basing her speeches on her hearing-impairment and other life experiences, and by incorporating her stand-up routine she creates a positive, but funny atmosphere.
Kathy is an active volunteer for causes close to her heart, and the Zetz Family Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation is truly grateful for the opportunity to have her join us in our efforts.
