Jobseekers can request, save and send unlimited references for FREE
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- A startup, refcat launched a website that allows users to request, save and send online job references to potential employers.
Once users sign up for a free account, they can request references by sending a link to a short performance and rating questionnaire. They can request references from supervisors/managers, colleagues, clients, business associates and college professors.
Once job references are completed and returned, users can review, delete, save or send them from a simple dashboard. Recipients receive an email with a link to a user’s job references. Users can send an unlimited number of references from their accounts at any time.
“Almost 40% of college students work, and more than 72% of high school graduates that don’t attend college are working,” said refcat Managing Partner, Kia Boriboon. “With refcat, people—particularly young Millennials—have a fast and easy way to collect valuable internship and job references to help them secure meaningful employment.”
The refcat website is mobile-friendly and accessible via refcat.com. Sign-up and service are free for all users. Downloadable apps for iPhone and Android are slated for development in 2016.
