Basware Named Best Accounts Payable, E-Invoicing Provider for Treasury & Cash Management

Basware, the leading provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, today announced that it has been ranked among the World's Best Treasury & Cash Management Providers by Global Finance magazine in its annual ranking. Basware was selected as the Best Accounts Payable Solution and Best E-Invoicing Solution by the Global Finance editorial team, with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. This marks a total of seven exclusive treasury management awards that Basware has received from Global Finance over the past several years.

Basware received this recognition for its innovative leadership in providing a full portfolio of SaaS and on-premise-based purchase-to-pay and e-invoicing solutions for B2B commerce. It empowers companies to unlock value across their financial operations, and provides the visibility and control to enable companies to effectively manage cash flow, working capital and spend.

“We are honored to once again be included among the World's Best Treasury and Cash Management Providers in Global Finance’s annual ranking,” said Robert Cohen, vice president, North America for Basware. “We are continuing to innovate solutions that help companies unlock the value in their financial operations, and achieve financial visibility and control over working capital management and spend. Basware is also committed to the growth of global B2B commerce by providing completely new ways companies can buy and sell – enabling them to achieve significant cost savings, boost their cash flow and improve relations with their trading partners.”

Basware’s flagship solution within the Accounts Payable suite, Basware Invoice Automation, enables companies to automate the invoicing process, greatly reducing the time it takes to process an invoice, typically from many weeks to a matter of days. In addition to offering extensive e-invoicing services, Basware operates The Basware Commerce Network, the largest open B2B network in the world. Basware also recently announced a partnership with MasterCard, launching a ground-breaking solution, Basware Pay, that ensures suppliers are paid fast upon invoice approval, while extending payment terms for buyers.

Global Finance used a multi-tiered assessment process—which included a readers’ poll, input from industry analysts, corporate executives, and technology experts and independent research—to select the best providers of treasury and cash management services. A variety of subjective and objective criteria were considered, including: profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing, product innovation and the extent to which treasury and cash management providers have successfully differentiated themselves from their competitors around core service provision.

“The winners in our annual Treasury & Cash Management awards are those that offer sophisticated domestic, regional and/or global solutions with a best-of-breed technology backbone and a client-centric front end,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance.

The ranking is published in the March 2015 issue of the magazine. More information can be found at http://www.gfmag.com/media/press-releasess/tcm-worlds-best-treasury-cash-management-providers-2015.
