Assured Guaranty (AGO) Q3 Earnings: What To Expect

Financial guaranty insurer Assured Guaranty (NYSE: AGO) will be announcing earnings results this Thursday after the bell. Here’s what to expect.

Assured Guaranty beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 51.2% last quarter, reporting revenues of $281 million, up 39.1% year on year. It was a softer quarter for the company, with a significant miss of analysts’ EPS estimates and a miss of analysts’ net premiums earned estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Assured Guaranty’s revenue to decline 31.4% year on year to $184.5 million, improving from the 33.3% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $1.54 per share.
