Mission Mobile Medical Names Mollie Williams to Lead New Policy Center, Advancing Mobile Healthcare Access Nationwide

The Policy Center will drive evidence-based solutions that expand access, remove regulatory barriers, and build financially sustainable models for mobile health delivery.

Mission Mobile Medical Group today announced that Mollie Williams, DrPH, MPH, has been appointed to lead the National Mobile Health Policy Center, a new initiative dedicated to advancing policies and practices that enable mobile health programs to deliver care to every corner of the country.

The Policy Center will serve as a hub for evidence and insight, translating on-the-ground experience from mobile health programs into policy priorities that expand access, strengthen delivery systems, and support financially sustainable models. In her role as Vice President of Evidence & Insight, Williams will oversee the Center's research agenda, policy engagement, and thought leadership efforts, working alongside healthcare leaders, public agencies, and community partners to accelerate mobile health solutions.

“Mobile healthcare has reached an inflection point. It is now widely accepted that mobile health programs improve health and reduce costs. As we expand mobile healthcare to reach every corner of our nation, we need policies and payment models that support this growth.”

— Mollie Williams, DrPH, MPH, Vice President of Evidence & Insight, Mission Mobile Medical

Williams added: “Everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. Mobile clinics are a trusted, cost-effective way to deliver that kind of care — but too often, outdated regulations and payment models get in the way. The Policy Center exists to change that.”

THREE CORE POLICY PRIORITIES

Mission Mobile Medical’s Policy Center is organized around three pillars:

Access for Every Community

More than 100 million people in the U.S. lack access to primary healthcare. The Policy Center will focus on infrastructure, workforce, and delivery innovations that close that gap — so that everyone, regardless of who they are or where they live, can access long, healthy lives.

Systems That Empower and Enable

Rules designed for a different era can block solutions that work today. The Policy Center will identify regulatory barriers, payment misalignments, and administrative burdens that prevent proven models from scaling — and will work with healthcare leaders to clear the path.

Sustainable by Design

Grant-funded projects come and go. Lasting change requires economic models that sustain themselves. The Policy Center will advance policy and regulatory frameworks that make innovative delivery financially viable, operationally resilient, and built to endure beyond any single funding cycle.

“Mollie brings the public health rigor and practical orientation needed to turn evidence into action. Under her leadership, the Policy Center will help align policy, payment, and operational reality so mobile health can scale to meet the needs of communities nationwide.”

— Amanda LeFever, President & CFO, Mission Mobile Medical

The Policy Center will publish research and insights, convene leaders across the mobile health ecosystem, and elevate best practices that improve access and outcomes. Mission Mobile Medical will also collaborate with partners to advance policy solutions that reduce administrative burden and support mobile care delivery in communities where traditional healthcare access remains limited.
